Yea, when I fitted them to my TE I just filled back the grove on the back of the light a little to make it a bit deeper and then they just clicked straight in.Originally Posted by Tiphareth

Yea I got to agree with Madmagna on this one.Originally Posted by Madmagna
Just last year three people were killed in an accident near my place for just this reason. The driver of the car was cruising down a hill at about 140 (maybe 150), bottomed out on the springs he'd cut himself. The car came down on the skid plates hard at the bottom of the hill and was thrown into the air. Slid sideways UP HILL for about 120m and snapped a telegraph pole off at it's base. The fact they were waring seatbelts didn't even help them, as one of the occupant's seatbelt snapped in half![]()
Really, one should always improve the handling first, learn how the car behaves and then add on with power mods.
150 km/h to a pole.... Ouch! Impact like that messes one's internal organs to a big pot of jelly. Want me to send some pics? No? Ok, thought so.
But what comes to mods and how much they add power (estimations)
K&N - some kWs, mainly on higher revs.
CAI - ditto, should affect all rev area if properly constructed.
Dump (muffler) - 5-10 kW
Headers - 5-15 kW
TB - some kW, but mainly response effect.
All air intake/output mods work together, improve each other.
Anything more than this and you start to spend big bucks - which, if I understood correctly, you don't have to much.![]()
But there are more to mod of course - endless...
Hope this helps.

ok dose any one know if the tj clear tail lights will fit the te magna or how much are these te clear ones im in badly deeply ineed of them
There are white tail lights available for TE-TH, don't think there are any that match the TJ design. And they are white, not clear. Plus you need to make them ADR compliant.

Redav is corrct. There is no "clear taillights" for the TJ models but the clear taillights that are available suit the TE - TH range. but apparently may fit the TJ, but looks wrong :? .

Thanks for the help.
If i get clear rear lights will I have to get special clearance or anything? Can i just slap them in and drive around no problems?
Currently im looking @ getting rear lights, side light, Filter in that order.
If your going to put clear rear lights on your car, you will need to put some red reflectors on the left and right rear end (i.e on the light itself or on the rear bumper) or you will end up getting booked by the copsOriginally Posted by Pieoter

As for fitting a TJ. I'm sure they will fit except the profile is different from a TE-TH to a TJ. The TJ has a smooth curved face whereas the others have crease halfway down.
